Walks
Agni,
A 20 minute walk along a coastal path brings you to Agni bay. There you will find 3 restaurants in a pretty little bay with sunbeds on the beach.Kouloura,
Kouloura is a 15 minute walk from Kalami and well worth the effort. There you will find a pretty little harbour with fishing boats. There is a taverna where you can take a refreshing drink or enjoy a meal.
Museums, Monuments and History
- The Atchaeological Musseum – Houses the world famous Archaic Gorgon Medussa (16th century BC) as well as a small collection of temple decorations, burial goods and bronzes. The Musseum is open Tuesday to Saturday 8.30-15.00 and Sunday 9.30-14.30 located at no 5 Vraila Street in Corfu Town.
- The Musseum of Far Eastern Art. Due to restoration work only half of the exhibits are on display. The Musseum is open Tuesday to Sunday 8.30-14.30 and is located in the Palace of St. Michael and St. George in Corfu Town.

The Solomos Musseum, contains memorabilia and archives from the Greek poet Dionysis Solomos who wrote “Him to Liberty”, that later became the Greek National Anthem. Open Monday to Friday 9.30-13.00 and is located in the poets house on Arsemiou street in Corfu Town.
- The Municiple Art Gallery, exhibits works from 19th century Corfu Artists and Greek ethnics. Open daily from 9.00-21.00. Located in the Palace of St Michael and St. George.

Achillion Palace. Houses memorabilia of Empress Elisabeth of Austria for whom the palace was built in 1889 and also Kaiser Willhelm II of Germany who purchased it after her death.There are also beautiful gardens with amazing views of the east coast and to the Greek mainland. Located in the village of Gastouri aprox 10 km south of Corfu Town.

The Corfu Shell Musseum, one Europe’s finest museums dedicated to shells and treasures of the ocean. Open daily from 10.00-21.00 located in the main road of Gouvia.

The old fortress, with battles and bastions this is the site of the original Corfu Town and has the best views over the town. Open from 87.30-15.00 located at Esplanade Square in Corfu Town.
- Paleopolis at the Mon Repos Estate, an archaeological excavation revealing Roman bath, the dockyards and harbour of Alkinoos and a large section of stone pavement in the Agora. This is the ancient capital of Corfu Town. There are also huge public gardens. Open from 8.20-15.00
- Ionian Greek Union Monument, surrounded by marble relics displaying the symbols of the seven Ionian Islands. Located in the Esplanade of the Liston in Corfu Town.
