| - The Archaeological Musseum – Houses the world famous Archaic Gorgon Medussa (16th century BC) as well as a small collection of temple decorations, burial goods and bronzes. The Musseum is open Tuesday to Saturday 8.30-15.00 and Sunday 9.30-14.30 located at no 5 Vraila Street in Corfu Town.

| Varkarola festival
“Varkarola” means “serenade under the moonlight” and happens in Kalami on the last Sunday of July every year. Its origin is very old and has strong connections with the islands love of its people, music and singing, their daily lives and love for sea and nature. The event takes place due to the dedication of its locals who so rightly wish to preserve their traditions.
The local choral group “Apollon” bring back its musical custom accompanied by one or two traditional instruments usually consisting of a guitar and violin.
Along with the choir, at night, small boats decorated with fairy lights can be seen approaching the beach as music fill the air.
